Refund & cancellation policy

This policy applies to professional engagements with Meridian Audit Atelier, including Controls Readiness Audits, Pre-License Control Reviews, Investor Diligence Walkthroughs, and Board Attestation Support. It does not cover physical goods, software licenses, or subscription products — we do not sell those.

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on whether fieldwork has started, whether a deposit reserved a calendar window, and whether delays were caused by missing client materials. Engagement letters control if they conflict with this summary.

Deposits

Engagements above NT$200,000 typically require a 30% deposit to reserve the fieldwork window. Deposits are refundable in full if we cancel the engagement for our own capacity or conflict reasons.

Cancellation by the client

• More than 14 days before kickoff: deposit refunded minus a NT$15,000 administrative fee, or applied as credit for six months at your request.
• 7–14 days before kickoff: 50% of the deposit is refundable; the remainder covers reserved practitioner time.
• Fewer than 7 days before kickoff: deposits are non-refundable unless we successfully rebook the window with another client, in which case we refund the unused portion.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 10 days’ notice is available without charge, subject to practitioner availability. Further reschedules may incur a NT$12,000 fee or require a new estimate.

Work already started

Once document review or interviews begin, fees for time incurred are payable and non-refundable. Any unused prepaid balance for unstarted phases may be refunded or credited after a written stop-work request.

No-shows

If key interviewees miss scheduled sessions without 24 hours’ notice, that fieldwork day may be billed as delivered. We will offer one makeup slot within the original engagement window when calendar allows.

Client delays and incomplete materials

If kickoff slips because ledgers, reconciliations, or access are not provided, reserved days may be re-invoiced when the engagement resumes. Extended pauses beyond 45 days may close the engagement; prepaid unused phases are then refunded minus time already worked.

Partial refunds

Where a fixed-scope package is narrowed by mutual written agreement after kickoff, we may issue a partial refund for clearly unstarted modules (for example, dropping a second rehearsal session on a Diligence Walkthrough).

Non-refundable items

• Completed memoranda, challenge memos, and delivered rehearsal sessions
• Travel booked at your request after written approval (refunded only to the extent carriers refund us)
• Administrative fees expressly described above

Refund process & timing

Email hello@webservicesmesh.digital with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within 14 business days to the original payment method when possible.

Exceptions

Statutory rights under Taiwanese law that cannot be waived remain available. Force majeure events that prevent both parties from performing may lead to rescheduling or pro-rata refunds of unstarted work.
