About Meridian Audit Atelier — audits for fintech

An atelier for careful fintech audits

We formed Meridian Audit Atelier to give payment, lending, and remittance teams an independent reading of controls without the theater of a large-firm roadshow.

Origin

The practice began after years of seeing fintech teams in Taiwan scramble before licensing interviews — strong products, thin reconciliation trails. We wanted a smaller studio that could sit with operations staff, open the actual ledgers, and write findings a board could read in one sitting.

Our registered correspondence address remains 5329 Schinner Drive, 連江縣, 台灣省, Taiwan, with fieldwork across Taipei and remote document rooms for multi-entity groups.

Working approach

We treat audits for fintech as craft: scoped interviews, intentional samples, and language that distinguishes residual risk from open failure. We do not sell software, retainers dressed as platforms, or “transformation” programs.

  • One named engagement partner for every mandate
  • Factual accuracy reviews before ratings are finalized
  • Conflict checks against competing clients in the same corridor

Interview rooms stay small so control owners can speak plainly.

Practitioners you meet in fieldwork

Credentials stay practical: prior internal audit, payments operations, and compliance leadership — not a logo wall.

Values we hold in the room

Plain language. Ratings mean what they say. We avoid inflating findings to justify fees or softening them to keep a relationship.

Respect for operators. Control owners are experts in their Tuesday mornings. We schedule interviews around settlement windows, not our convenience alone.

Independence. We decline implementation work that would make us audit our own advice in the same period.
